Westlake Texas is a small town on the Tarrant/Denton County line in the perfect location for a luxury community in Northeast Tarrant County. With only 700 residents, this community is home to executives, sport stars, and other public figures. Westlake Texas real estate has an average home value just over $1 million and is located only 12 miles from DFW Airport and only 7 miles from Alliance Airport in Fort Worth.
There are a few neighborhoods in Westlake including Vaquero, the guarded community and home to the Vaquero County Club, with homes and lots for sale in Vaquero. Another prominent neighborhood is Glenwyck Farms and Westlake is even home to a private airfield community, Stagecoach Hills.
The biggest attraction to Westlake Texas real estate is Westlake Academy, which is a charter school owned and operated by the town of Westlake. Westlake Academy is proud to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This school is special because it focuses on dynamic thinking and building leaders for the future.
Westlake is only minutes away from downtown Fort Worth and Southlake Town Square. It also has a couple places to eat in town like Diego’s Tex-Mex and Weinberger’s Deli.
Westlake is one of the best places to live in Dallas-Fort and that is the main reason why Westlake Texas real estate is so popular.
